Greetings

I am looking at getting an air compressor. I won't be using it a lot. Has anyone

http://www.australiandirect.com.au/shop/4x4-vehicle/air-compressors/1409

Has anyone ever got one of these, and if so, what was it like?

ALso, Repco also have one in their catalogue now, it has 2M battery leads and 10m hose for $99.
Anyone had experience with those

Thanks

Also check those power leads will reach the back tyres, even though you have 10 m of hose, the hose will pull against the valve if its too short and it ends up a PITA.

I just bought the projecta compressor from anaconda for $160 normally $260, 150L free air delivery with 150L psi pressure, works a treat. I extended the power lead by an extra 3m which now gives me an 8m lead and bought separate air hose from ABR Sidewinder which is a 10m hose with gauge and built in deflator rated also at 150 psi. Can now get all the way around the troll without an issue

Never underestimate the power of the Tap.

I did try the repco one because I thought, for $100 it could be OK - It did come with a nice ABS case and a 10M hose. I had to take it back the next day. The spring on the tyre clip broke on the second tyre. Also, the hose connector got so hot by the third tyre that I had to wear gloves to disconnect it. I got a full refund.

It ends up I will be making my own on-board compressor system. I have a wabco compressor from a Porsche suspension lift system and will feed that into a 6L gas receiver from 'endless air' (http://endlessair.com.au/pricing_tables.html). I'll need to work out where to mount it.

Ive got the twin cyclinder one from a different supplier for alot cheaper $76 delivered. Works great. Only issue is the short power leads and the gauge isnt accurate. Takes around 2 mins to pump up the 33's from 20 -> 40.

You can add new leads and replace the gauge.

Has anyone heard of the Dr Air Pro Flow 150,

It won the 4wd Action Air Compressor Comparison Test,

All if any feedback would be good,

Cheers Tonks.
