After reading the title I though youve named your rat!!! Lol
Which drain is it? Can you cap it and drown the buggers?
We had rats under out chook house on the farm.. burnt the buggers out.. 20ltrs of petrol and a match.. got 70 something that way, then flooded the last 130ish out. There was 6 of us and our old retriever. She didn't eat them, just bit hard, crushed then dropped for the next..
4 on shoves and me and dad stainding back with a shotgun and .22 for and rouge runners...
Great day out... Geeze I miss the farm days..

With all this dry weather they seem to be moving in closer, my mates in Essendon and Pascoe vale have them
and just noticed activity in my shed behind my main shed. think I'll just throw in baits. My little dog Porky would have got them
he was a pure Jack Russell ALL HEART with 4 legs underneath,lol
His mum and dad were pure JRs but mother got out and poodle next door got her. Had him for 18 yrs top mouser and friend,
now only have Tyson the Blue pitbull and Croozer the Bull Arab and now Billy The American bulldog {Johnson not scott}

I hear you Kallen.. when I was an apprentice jockey we had the truck come every month or so to take away the manure and there were tens of thousands of mice and 50 odd rats scurrying everywhere... wont tell you what I use to do to them??

Bloody rats hey, we had some here around our gardens and chook yard. I wish I could have burned the fers but that would see the ACT firies on my door step. We resorted to poison and seem to have got rid of them.....
Our Maltese just thought they were her friends :(
