Good morning fellow Patroller's. I've had a GQ (1989) for years but have just recently bought a new second-andy, a 1996 GQll.
Does the ll in GQll just simply mean series 2? The badging gets a bit confusing at times.
Thanks and regards
Roo.

Same with my 93.

I think all RX models have those lights. Not sure if RX models came out in Series 1&2 or just 2.

Kind of in between I guess mate........ mines an RX, has carpets, cloth seats, manual windows, electric windows, central locking and aircon..... what more could you possibly need ;)
DX is the poverty model.... I think the ST has the same as RX but also electric windows. TI has upgraded Velour or leather seats and plusher carpets, chrome numbers I think and some extra body moulding.
What you tapin at!!!!!????

Did changing the front guards(wider track) happen with the change from series 1 to series 2.?

The track was the same on all gq's. GU has a wider track. Clear lamps on the front guards came in in 94 sometime and was on all models as far as I know. They also had the factory cup holders and Big Console Lid. Updated Auto Shift lever, new grill .. among other things.
GQ II was from 92 on and offered the EFI petrol engine, New Interior Fabrics, and Engine bay noise deadening.
