Just bought a used 1990 Maverick. Its to be a sort of back up vehicle.
Not too sure if it was a mistake purchase, but anyway it's here.

Now it came with VT Commodore front seats. Ahhhhhh!!!!

The adjusting knobs on the driver's side get in the way of the seat belt and SWMBDWANW, (she who must be dealt with and not a wife ), says the passenger side is uncomfortable.

To be honest I find the seats uncomfortable as there is no adjustment, short of forward/back and adjusting the back angle. Possible the seats are sot, well drivers side is.

Is there some other option than these for the vehicle?

If the seats are changed from originals do they have to be certified etc or is it a case of just doing a change over?

Sorry mate, I wouldn't know. Would probably be best to check with your states transport office........

Although in saying that, insure there's plenty of folk who have just gone and changed them anyway
