Why is it that when i fuel up at my local it costs around $50/$52 to fill my sub from empty and the cost is $1.49/l and when I fiil up at the servo near Dorreen it only costs me around $41/$43 and their prce is $1.51. it should be the same amount of fuel going in everytime within a litre or two?????? You would think it should be cheaper from my local.

You're obviously putting different amounts of fuel in. Maybe theirs cuts off a lot quicker.

If its a GU your sub tank is a 30lt tank. I never take any notice of the price but alway watch the liters. The most I have ever got in it is 32lts.

Assuming that you always pump your sub dry to your main tank then the fill will always be the same. 30lts.

If you get 36lts in it NEVER go back there and report the station they are ripping you off!

Take a 10 or 20 litre container in and do a check against a known measure.
