timing chain set up

hi there all, just wondering if anyone can help with timing chain setup pics, rebuilding my tb42 and want to make sure timing chain is set up properley, i noticed that chain has 2 shiny links, do these have to be set as markers or if i've set all at tdc do they just slide on...
