:1087:hi people, i was wondering what side everyone has their awning on and why, drivers side or passenger side ,thanks

Mine is drivers.
But my mates is passenger side so we can park side by side and have the awnings out together.

If you have a choice I would go with passenger side.
You can set it up on a street to dry, or have a smoko in shade or shelter. Much safer than having it on the other side.
Our last car it was on the drivers side even though we never used it there.
It was mounted on a "Fred's Arm" which swung it over the back door of the ute with canopy we had.

That is awesome! I am gonna have to get me one of those.

As for the OP. I put my awning on the passenger side. That way if you are driving along a road and you want to pull over for a rest the awning opens away from the road.

Put one on both sides, that way you have the flexibility to do what ya like ;)
