Remote playing up on GU

HI all,

i started having trouble with my remote a month ago so i brought a new battery but still works intermittently.

Has anyone had a similar problem or is there a fault only with my remote?

It's normally a dry solder joint in the circuit board in the remote. The problem is, it's next to impossible to see with the naked eye.

If the remote is not working now you could try removing it from the case and giving the circuit board a spray with WD40, wait for it to dry and then reassemble and test.

Some people have had good results doing this.

Heard some horror stories on prices then getting it coded
$130 for remote and spare parts guy jumped in patrol and synced it no charge

Would MAF cleaner be ok as well?????

I don't think cleaning solvents will have the same affect.
