Might need to evacuate the system and refill after checking for leaks with the flouro glasses.

Get a check for leaks - sounds like it might be as simple as a regas

There are a few reasons why your A/C might not be as cold as it should be.

1. It could be low on gas, caused by a possible leak.

2. It could have to much gas or even to much oil in the A/C system.

3. Could be a blockage/restriction in the A/C system or a faulty TX valve.

4. A problem with the thermostat

5. Poor airflow through the condenser, out near the radiator.

6. A problem with the heater flap/tap still allowing hot air to mix with the cold A/C air.

7. Fresh air vent not closing.

The first 4 items need to be checked by a qualified licensed A/C tech.

They do recommend that your A/C system gets serviced every 2 years.

Personally, my way of thinking is, if it's not broke then don't fix it. If the A/C system is still working fine leave it alone.

Every time the A/C system is opened, moisture is sucked in, this causes damage.

Yes the system are vacuumed out to try and remove moisture and air but most aren't put on the vacuum long enough to remove all the moisture from the system.

If your tank have enough freon, try checking the aircon relay located under the hood. It could be loose. Pull it out and press it back or you may simply tap it. use plastic tie if necessary. This usually happens when you went rough road.

Sorry, I don't go online often. The relay switch I was refering to is in the relay box located near the battery.

I have to take the picture for your easy identifcation in case you haven't found it yet. The brown relay between two blue relays. or you may refer to your box cover if it does't show like this.

I used nylon ties to tighten all the relays. Be patient.

If your aircon is cycling quickly, you can hear the clutch engaging on/off, it will be a sign of low pressure. You will need to id where it is leaking, 90% of systems have a dye and will generally leak around fittings where there is an 'O' ring. Alternatively you can bridge your low pressure switch and see if the system actually gets cold then although not recommended if you don't have any mechanical skills.
