I have no Idea how that thing got past REGO...???
On another note, There have been a few people take the GWs up the OTT and other places that I have read of. If you are sensible with your driving style and dont rush your trip, I believe you can go just about anywhere in almost anything, even the GW. There was a time when the Patrol came out in Australia that people scoffed at them and said they wouldnt last.... how wrong they were....

It has only rear wheel drive, so its not offroad vehicle.
But! OMG it is so fantastic misspent money spent I ever seen.

That is just waaaay to nasty.
Regarding the GW on the OTT, there was a readers post in a recent 4wda that they took their GW to the cape, would be interesting to see it on the track

I feel sorry for the poor mechanic this w%%%er took it to.
How embarrising to have that turn up in your drive way.
burn the midnight oil there.
and wash your hands in agent orange afterwards.

A few years back I was talking to one of the GMH guys from Sth Oz and he said originally the GW was to be sold new at $10k. GMH protested to Govt and got it raised to entry level at $20ish k.

What the fu(k!! He should have gone to spec savers. I understand modifying a vehicle to make it more useful or even just to personalise it BUT why spend so much money to make it look like this.
Also it sounds over serviced, overpriced and is generally just over the top. I think from memory these cost around $27000 standard.I reckon he is reaching for the stars by asking for this amount.
