2003 GU iii ST 3.0 turbo diesel

hello all i have just signed up so i am sorry if this is in the wrong section, but im wanting to purchase a 03 onwards gu patrol have heard a lot of different opinions apparently a lot of common problems leaks etc could someone please guide me in the right direction also are they timing belt or chain?? thankyou

Nicks - they are a timing chain...all good from that end.

Buy the latest model you can afford, that has been well serviced and looked after, and you should be right.
