Well...its comfortable, travels well. Does not overtake very well when already at speed

when going to pass i find it better to drop back to 4th
has that bit more in it

Yeah mate i did. Red lining it..going down goldfirlds highway so it was roadtrains.
Probably be alright with an after market turbo and exhaust.
Also found out the speedo was out. We had two patrols and a recent model hilux with the satilite tracking stuff.
Apparently 110 on the speedo was actually about 90.
Seen the latest 2013 nissan pajero hahaha.

It would be pretty heavy that ute though I imagine? The 3L normally goes pretty well.

Nah mate its the supervisors..got a few sockets sets not much else.
The fitters ute is the 4.2 but thats has a tonne on the back

well there you go no turbo nowonder it was lagging
you was lucky the road train didnt suck you under them
i wouldnt knock it to much it did well to get past

Yeah all 3.0 had a turbo. It probably has a throttle stop or some sort of lockout device on it. I work with blokes who have the same utes but privately owned and the crd 3.0 will suit on 130 with 700kg on the back
