Hi guys,
After buying this car at Christmas, a couple of mates and I have spent a lot of time on it getting to where it is now. It turns 20 in March, so I guess you could say that this revamp is its 20th b'day present.
When I picked it up, it had a roof rack, dobinson 2" lift and an alpine stereo (first 2 pics)
Since buying it, we have added the following:
Ironman bull bar
Tigerz11 grande winch
Lightforce Genisis
GME 4006 antenna with UHF radio
Bushranger flares
Fat Safari Snorkel
Duel battery system running 8mm 2 core flexi to the back
Koni shocks and heavy duty king springs
Tigerz11 Sugar glider awning complete with 3 LED strips (painful to wire up)
Brodit off road ipod & iphone holder
RAM ipad mount
1/2 cargo barrier
Drawer System that we built; 2 drawers, 1 bench, removable L & R panels, Baintech panel & switches
LED's everywhere I could
60ltr enmach water tank
about to have gas ripped out and go back to petrol only
rocksliders by mid year.
Hope you guys enjoy the pics :)
Cheers, Dave

Looking good mate.....no need for a comp truck I'm enjoying building mine into more of a tough touring rig.....capable of doing 99% of tracks but also capable of a comfy Simmo crossing......plus you get to fit more fun stuff than a stripped out comp rig, amusing as they may be to drive!
Tip tip tip......tap tap tap....

Thanks guys. A lot of thought went into those drawers and slide out bench. We ran out of the aluminium stripping on top of the drawers and bench... another excuse for a beer with mates :)
Credit goes mainly to my mate who once he understood what hairbrained idea I was banging on about, had to make it a reality with our help... poor bugger.
Sorry Westy, I can rip em out if you like? :P
I'm with you Drew, that's how I am thinking about mine too. I need this car to last the next 10-20 years at least otherwise I'll be left with a car and no wife... hmmm... having said that :0

But were did you source that power out let panel? Or is it a custom?

The power outlet in the drawers is a Baintech GU control panel (http://www.baintech.com.au/4wd/baintech-gu-control-panel) and was picked up at patrolapart in lilydale, Vic.
Looks like there a couple of stockists in WA as well. From memory it was around $130-150. Well worth it. 1merit socket, 2 12v cigi sockets and an engel socket.
