movement in throttle peddle

Hi have been having this lag issue changed maf cleaned tps but have just noticed if i push accel pedal to the left revs jump up and down push to the right and no change ,i did read a thread about this somewhere but can`t find it .what steps should i take to rectify or will this whole assembly need replacing 11/07 zd30 ddti crd

G`day again I ended up pulling the tps apart and found that their was 2 of the 4 brushes were not contacting properly..it is very much like the old scalelectric car throttle (very much) i use a pair of flat tweesers to gentle rebend the brushes back to original position....removal of pedal unit fix and replace took all of 10 mins .the trickest part was replacing the return spring..anyway took car for a drive and she went like the clappers the auto dropped down when peddle went down , cruise control goin sweet no more bazard rev out an drop down all power back ..happy as recovering a cruizer... :-)

Hi Rob .
Firstly , if your car is an o7 model i think it would be a crd , the ddti is from earlier models and they both relate to the fuel injection systems , so you would have one or the other , not both .
I think your info on the throttle pedal is exellent . A number of people have had issues similar to yours , i think your post will be a big help .
