Not often I get this opportunity but I took it.
Over the Australia day weekend we went to beachport.
We hit the dunes on the Sunday and we come upon this larger dune. There was a rolux tearing up the main track and had no hope of getting there, ended up being winched.
The father law and I decided up the side..
He gave it a crack and gave up after 3 times...
I though f it.. ill give it a go.. he laughed, the passengers got out And videoed it.
I didn't realise it but he gave it a 4 and failed crack... He got there eventually...
Lol

Shite Kallen you had enough momentum to launch off the top, did you grab some air.

Ghee he just bogged down! Did not look like he was ever going to get there! He was bogging before the start of the dune! It looked like he had way more air in his tyres than you Kallen! You went straight up it and it was not that big a dune! Really surprised how badly he did! What tyre pressures were you both running?
Sorry mate I know you do a heap of sand driving where you are it just looked Odd?

Yea well, both running 15.. given his is an auto and didn't have a converter lockup at that time.
He was running up to it in 2low.. just ran out of puff.. after the vid he went 3low and did it easy..
Yea I was hooting, wanted a bit if guarantee behind me... I backed off at the top so no air.. I did get air along the track further though.. :D
And this was down north of beachport just south of the buggy track in there..

Does his car have stability control?
It looks like his car slowed down too fast like when stability control kicks in.

Dunno. I know it has it. Not sure if it disables when in 4wd mode

Usually it needs to be turned off by a switch, I got caught out with it using my work car (Mitsi Challanger), could not get up a sand hill & tried 4 times, then turned off stability control and flew over the hill.
