G'Day from Hervey Bay

Hi All,
I am a retired soldier/mechanic who still enjoys getting a bit of grease under my finger nails.
I don't have a Patrol but used to own a 1998 Blue/Silver 4.2 Petrol. I drive a 1957 Cadillac that I rebuilt.
I look after some of my friends cars as an interest in my old age.
I have a new friend who has a 2000 GU 2 with a few issues. She will show me the vehicle for the first time tomorrow.
There is several dash lights that come on and a search on the forum has given me plenty of things to test and look at.
I did a fair bit of a web search and this seems to be the place to be for all the great advise and help.
I will let the forum know if I need some assistance.

G'day mate and welcome to the forum.
Hervey Bay must be a great place to live, I am heading to Fraser Island in September for a holiday and it will take me 3 days to get there, I guess you could see it from where you are.

We have a 7 klm Esplanade that has a view of Fraser Island.
It can be reached by jetski in less than 30 minutes.
We have had plenty of rain lately but it is still a great place to live. Wear shorts just about year round.
