rd28t turbo upgrade

Has anyone upgraded their turbo on thier rd28t. have to pull head off, thought since i will be changing intake and added a cooler when i find them might as well see if i do something with the turbo. Any ideas fellas

think im just going to rebuild mine and boost it up to 15 :)
cant find much info on the rd28t. i had it running on 13psi stock everything. but now i have done the head changing manifold and adding a intercooler. will also put an exhaust. see how 13psi will go with all that. if im happy how it goes after that ill leave it

Hey mate what benefit did you get out of the new manifold / intercooler? Noticeable difference? How's the manifold different from stock?

I've done 2.5in straight thru mandrel bent exhaust including dump and apart from sounding awesome I don't reckon it made that much difference.

still working on the car. had to change the head gasket. which i put on the weekend. going to rebuild the turbo. so hopefully in a week or two she will be back on the road. im going to go 3" with my exhaust.

hey fellas. the exhaust end of turbo is yuk. the internal wastegate has had it. looking for a 2nd t25 or t28 now. If anyone is out there with one sitting around let me know

The gt2860 is almost a direct fit
