Hi,
I am trying to use NISSAN FAST to identify some steering components for my vehicle. When I enter my VIN it says that it is "MODEL SERIES CANNOT BE FOUND FOR THIS VIN. INPUT MODEL OR MODEL SERIES".
Am I entering the VIN correctly?

Vehicle is a 6/89 build cab/chassis or 'pickup' model as it is called in the maintenance manual.

I have tried using Model number and Type but it doesn't work.
Any suggestions from the NISSAN FAST experts?
Thanks in advance

I'm no Nissan Fast Expert, but my guess is your not using the right catalogue,

You need 2 be using the right catalogue for the cars country and in your case you need to be using the AR Catalogue.

I have tried your VIN supplied and it works

Thanks Tod,
I looked at my catalogues and I only have A & B series. Will try and locate the missing files.
Thanks again,
John

John, I have removed you VIN# from the post.

You never know who's prying eyes are lurking and what they could do with that info

Actually I left the keys in the drivers door overnight parked on the front lawn and nobody noticed, so I don't think that it is a problem.
Thanks anyway for your concern.

Be very careful where you post VIN's A real case I was told about concerned a Mazda MX5 which was advertised on one of the online sales sites-anyway bloke from Qld purchased the car from Victoria and went to register it in Qld. Well he was told that it couldn't be registered because it already WAS currently registered in Qld--Upshot as the Vic car was legit someone had used the VIN and engine #'s taken from the online ad and registered the car. A car may be registered in one state but unless its been reported stolen the clone may be registered elsewhere Food for thought
