I have this almost fetish for checkerplate and would happily trade off my girlfriend for a few sheets.. not to say she isn't great because I love her to bits.. but it's those shiny mesmerising diamonds they can persuade me better than a topless barmaid.. So what's your favourite product? Or material.. don't just limit it to your car either, fire away!

I'm a sucker for polished carbon fibre...
Light weight, make any shape and a nice gloss finish...

Stainless steel!! Its strong, stays polished or machined, its a prick to work with if you mig weld it with mild steel wire it spits at you when your done!! It doesn't like to be stretched or it breaks and it makes a nice rattle when you make an exhaust out of it!!

Titanium... a few of my motorcycle parts are Ti and it is an incredible material.

Platinum a close second; I have a platinum ring. Not that I wear it much, I'm not into jewellery. I only keep my watch on until I get somewhere where I can take it off.

Mate put me onto a product called POR15, available from automotive paint shops.
you brush it on and it sets with a mirror finish, you can then belt the beegeeza out of it
and it wont chip or scratch. alterative to powder coating front diffs and other components
Wide used in hot rod circles, similar products are available with the same result. try it,
awesome product besides big $$$$$$price tag. $50 @ 500ml I think

@ GUtsy,,,,,,,,,,,,Tongues out hey,,,,,,, you "fashionista you", what doing next winter??????????
