Hi, I'm new to this site and all things Patrol! I'm form the UK and have just bought myself a 2000 2.8 td patrol, all has been going well in the few days I've had it until I pulled up along side it in my van when I got home tonight and noticed fluid on the tarmac at the back end, and sure enough it turned out to be diesel!:jawdrop:
I only got it a few days ago and checked underneath before I handed my cash over and it's been dry until today. Is this a common thing and am I going to have to buy a new tank?
It seems to be round the back end of the tank, either at the seam or above. I've had a look through the inspection plate and it's all dry there! HELP!
