hi guys ive been searching but havent found what im looking for so to the rd28 ppl out there

is the gq rd28 flywheel solid or duel mass ? solid

will the gq flywheel fit the gu ? yes if the spacer is removed and a gq crossmember is used

is the clutch the same between gq/gu and soild/duel mass ? yes

what is the spacer for between the motor and box on a gu is it clearence for the duel mass flywheel ? clearance for the dual mass

will the gq rd28 gearbox fit the gu and are the bell housings interchangeable ? gq gearbox will fit if you run gq flywheel and gq crossmember and leave the gu spacer out

one less on the road and sitting in our garage collecting dust, another TD42t on the road.

All I can say to answer your question burgo88 is only two words Harmonic Balancer.

my harmonic balancer damaged the woodruff key and the key way in the crankshaft i just removed the damaged woodruff key got a new harmonic balancer / balancer bolt and washer and done it up to specs marked it and just keep an eye on it done 20000k as long as the timing gear keyway is good nothing bad can happen motor has done 350000k and still going strong
