I bought a GU y61 TI ,Auto , its my first diesel 4x4, got it brand new in Feb 2012,
Having probs with it already, such as power , on the road its great but get in the dirt and that's a different story , does anybody know or can someone guide me with some advice . the guys at Nissan say they cant find anything wrong with it, but they don't drive it in the dirt. the problem is when driving ( in dirt ) at about 30 ks and flatten the pedal nothing happens for a good 3 to 5 seconds , it wont drop back a gear,it just starts to build up the revs , but very slowly... any ideas ???
Im going to take it back to Nissan but i need some info on what I'm talking about ....

cheers

Yeah Macca, definitely in 4WD I've tried H4 and L4 sill much the same result, pardon my ignorance , but what is EDB ? the only buttons I've got are , Hold mode A/T mode and Power mode.
when I'm in the dirt I have the O/D off and in power Mode and H4 or L4 , tires at 12 PSI
It just runs out of power under slight load as if its in limp mode ,

Cheers

Electronic brake distribution. Unsure of your problem then going into 4wd should make no difference to power levels

gday mate, ive got a 2012 gu crd, mine seems to perform best in low 2nd or low 3rd,just make sure you shift into that gear to hold it otherwise you'll be changing gears all the time and bogging you down, just my 2 cents worth, give it a go
