Would putting a bigger turbo make this go down on the freeway, bit annoying at 100-110KPH

It's weird to hear someone say they don't like turbo whistle. Don't muck around with different turbos as that won't help with noise and it will most likely give you worst performance. Just get a better muffler put on, one that has multiple resonators.

I dont mind the whistle but on the open road for hours it gets annoying.

I can't hear mine on the highway cruising, only hear it when you start accelerating a bit harder and it starts boosting.
