Pulled off carb to tighten screws holding main body and throttle body together. When I flipped it over to tighten, a small plastic tube fell out and I cannot figure out where it came from!! Do not see it on any of the carb diagrams. Put it all back together to see what happens to hopefully provide more clues and now it over fuels a LOT a idle, seems to run ok after 2000rpm.
Currently living in Costa Rica, so no mechanics.
Please help!!

Which Engine's carby are we looking at?
You noted that it over fuels at idle.
a restrictor in idle circute one would think.
can you trace that in schematic and see if part fits in idle path, where it could of fallen from.

Thanks for the quick reply!! The rig is a 92 Y60 with the Petrol engine. The exploded diagram I have does not show any pathways. I will pull it off and apart and look again.
Cheers

Got the carby back together and black smoke is less but not gone. Do you think something else fell out and I did not catch it?
Cheers

give it a good run on the highway at 100kmh and then see if it sill smokes. prob a build up from running rich. that plastic sheeve deffinantly goes where tjh indicated.
remember ... if its blowing smoke it's running to rich or burning oil
if its white smoke it;s probablu burning oil
if its black smoke its probably running rich

Its blowing black smoke, so running rich. I will take it for a highway run. Thanks for the offer on the carby. I live in Costa Rica, and the area I live the mechanics have NO clue!! Thank god for you guys on this website.
