@ alitis wait till you do Talbotville in the Wonnongurra valley I think or Wongungurra not 100%.
But 22 river crossings think this gets to the bottom of Zeka spur {very, very steep} half the time
you just look at sky, this'll then take you to the Dargo pub, a great reward for a very challenging drive.
Now you can see why I didn't go, I couldn't stand in that terrain, but with you in spirit believe me.

thinking you might mean crooked river crossings then up bulltown spur to dargo
goerge better look at a snorkel before you tackle that one and maybe a water bra for your rig

Bob, you/we need to go to Pineapple flat then. I went through there on the weekend and the King River does look a treat for those trout. Nice long open spaces for me to flick the fly rod...

Alitis007
30th January 2013, 08:48 AM

Yeah have been there but I usually Camp upstream a bit at a place I call Cazda's Green on the King. Great area for trout fishing however needs to settle down a bit after being flogged over the Chrissy Hols.

I fish all along the King from Lake William Hovel to the King Hut.

Some great Camping Spots however gets a bit busy at times but now I have retired I can get up there during non Holidays.

Some Great Drives around that area also

Spot on there mate

If its got a cat "high flow" it with a pipe thru the guts of it but its a $10k fine if you get caught but its unlikely to go to the EPA unless you get a knackered 2nd hand 1 and "high flow" that then petrol should bark a bit aswell haha

Ab was kind enough to make a threedog thread. Heres my latest buy ,cost $20 from Ebay ,
condition a bit further gone than what i first thought, Its been standind outside for ages in the weather
so timber has lost all its colour and very ,very dry, Whipped out the mighty mouse and got into it.
replaced some ply panels, The cork chips were the insulation, I'll be leaving it out as not using it
as an ice box any more. getting there good theraphy as well , staining this one walnut, removing wire racks
and fitting timber ones inside it. it will house all my resto bits and pieces, this is a top opening icebox circa 1920

Alitis007
