Is there a Plastic Trim for the Interior metal that runs down the sides of the windshield. It looks like there was one at some stage.

Heres a pic

Top right hand side, in this image, the Maroon/Red Metal.

Otherwise, the roof lining just sits there at the top. And theres a break in the metal at that point aswell. Looks like their would be a trim piece to cover it.

Any idea?

Its a 1992 Patrol, GQ

A nice neat roll cage would cover it up :). I was thinking the ti models did but lucas has blown that out of the water.

Lucas got ripped *L*

In my 92 TI GQ the roof lining goes all the way down that strip with a little speaker at the bottom.

My lowly old RX also has the trim, so I would say who ever replaced the windscreen at some point found it too hard to do the trim as well

Don't stroke it, TAP it!!!!.....

Dunno why theres a join. It's velour (oooh so fancy). No tweety birds.
My mates maverick doesnt have trim there. Must have been an executive decision from ford management to remove it lol

Dx's have vinyl floors, no top covers on the doors & the roof lining stops at the top of the front pillars. ST's,RX's & TI's Have carpet, top door covers & the roof lining continues down the front pillars. Your Mavey obviously is the Equivalent to a Dx. Called standard in the maverick range. My mates maverick XL, has The same interior as my TI. maverick also came in XLT but that was only in the SWB. Just some more info if your interested from my experience with patrols. ST's: Carpet, top door covers, wind up windows manual door mirrors. RX's: carpet, top door covers, wind up windows & electric door mirrors, TI's carpet, top door covers but covered in vinyl with a thin layer of foam in-between & electric door mirrors. Dx have basic instrument cluster all the rest have all the gauges.

Someone's either added the electric gear or removed the pillar trim.
