Hi everybody, just thought I'd introduce myself.

I'm Brendan from SA, and I purchased a '92 GQ Ti Patrol a couple of weeks ago. It's pretty well standard but still very fun to take off road, I'm hoping to do a few things to it as I go along though :)

Really want a good winch bar and a lift kit, some storage in the back and if I get real keen a V8 conversion haha

Hi Brendan and welcome.

I've been to look at a Y61 Patrol here in the UK today but unfortunately not for me; needed a little *too* much tender love and care.

Everyone here is super friendly so don't be afraid to ask questions.

Kind regards,

Garry

Welcome Brendan,

Don't worry about the V8 conversion unless your motor is really shagged, just get in and drive it, and learn how to get the best out of it.

There will be plenty of better money to be spent on the car if you want to spend it.......

Hello Everyone! We brought our dream 4x4 nissan patrol a couple of years ago and have been steadily adding to her, once you have one your always wanting to update the accessories! We have 4 daughters who love the off road as much as we do and we all love the new places our Big Bertha (patrol's name lol) can take us. So far we've gone from native Qld all the way thru the back roads down to Vic and a few places local. Havent done the beach yet but looking to go to Fraser Island in the near future!
Cheers

Thanks for the warm welcome guys!! I've been out enjoying the GQ heaps already! :) took her down to Pt. Gibbon and tackled some sand dunes recently, just need a lift kit and it'll be sweet, decided to wait for a motor conversion till my motor dies haha...
