Opinions on VH45 motor??

Gday guys, juz after sum opinions on the VH45 motor, any good? Ive found one with about 80,000 on it bolted to a gq auto box with the vh internals which has done bout 60,000. Would it be worth a look in? I havnt seen nor can i find any decent info on this conversion into a gq. Any feedback would b appreciated :)

They are a good motor. The only issue is the aftermarket for them and getting parts. It has been done but if I remember correctly the bloke had dramas trying to get it to run properly cos of electrics. Its not a very common conversion so the cost could be more than others. I know there was a build thread on outerlimits where the above mentioned bloke twin turboed it. Maybe try and see if you can find it on there, its the only one I know about.

yeah i think i remember that build??? He put a big Compound Turbo setup on it didn't he?

I'm not sure but I know he sold it incomplete and it hasn't resurfaced as far as I know. This could be the drive train from said vehicle.
