Looks pretty good to me. Definitely the type of thing I'm after, doesn't seem like a bad price to me?

Of course it is a good buy..........it's a GQ :)
Seriously though, no vehicle is a good buy. they all suck your money away as soon as you get it!
Winnie

Yeah but if it puts a smile on ya dial while sucking the money then it's good?

Considering I have seen people asking just below that for dual fuel then I would say it doesn't seem like a bad price for a Turbo Diesal

I am very tempted to go pay a visit to the bank and then fly up and drive home

Dont pay full price though then you will be getting a bargain with a lil bit of coin to spend on unexpected things
Winnie

I could never pay list price or anything. Even if I talk him down $100 it's like a little personal victory. Love to bargain haha

Looks good. You'll need to get onto it super quick if it is any good.
I paid only a few g's less than that for my mint petrol RX and that was after having so many good oilers slip through my fingers by minutes sometimes.
Is there a forum member nearby who could have a squiz for you?
You'll be joining the white GQ sect too...

Regretful sale, the wife wants something she feels comfortable driving as we share the driving on our camping trips. Really good on fuel, gets 650-700k's out of a tank. The body has 317,000 on it, the motor only has 230,000 on it as it had a motor change. Plenty of torque for towing, plenty of power.
Does not come with pitctured number plates, Registered till march buyer will have to supplier RWC or it will be sold unregistered!
PREFERABLY CASH SALE but will consider Swaps for a Nissan GU Patrol (preferably looking for Turbo Diesel- 2.8 or 3L).

How much would I be looking at for a turbo kit supplied and installed? Not the type of thing I'd be able to do myself
Wondering if it would be worth it to buy NA and strap a snail onto it

Shite myself thought you brought another "Q" then I saw the date. Doh!
So how is the new ride going?? no teething problems like
those annoying $2 fixes
jujunini
22nd February 2013, 01:42 AM
The new ride is great, the suspension is completly dead but he is working very well. I'm still working on the stalling problem on petrol when I have some spare time.
The overall condition is good but some people did some mistake like using wrong hose size or not tightened some clanps correctly.
I'm happy because it is improving my mechanic skill :D
