View Full Version : GQ drivers seat busted - need a slider

Ok just pulled the front seat out as it was a bit loose and its busted :( Its the slider itself and a small crack on the bolt mount.
Looks like I'll need another as I don't think welding will only fix the frame and not the roller mechanism

Also does this look like like the original seat...it matches all other seats and is pretty comfy.

Anyone got a spare drivers seat I could get a slider off???????

I had to use my rails for the commo seats. If no luck here mate try ringing around the wreckers.

Actually, you could try those guys on Ebay who are wrecking GQ's too...

Exactly what happened to mine.. I welded the rail once cleaned of grease and placed 2 bits ok solid steel (12x12) along the top and inside edges.
The inside rail has no support when fully back which sucks. The outer rails have that big spacer plate which adds a lot of strength. I'll get a pic today for you
