When glenfords closed down I went to thier closing sale and got...

3x Stilsons (pipe wrenches) @ $6 ea (worth $70)
1X scredriver set @ $10 (worth $50)
1x Flex head ratchet spanner set @ $35 (worth $250)
1x 150mm mityitoyo verneers @ $70 (worth $300)
And numerous other tools at similar bargin prices. Those were the best ones though! And before you complain that you can get these cheaper when we got back to work we looked through our mountian of cataloges to find the same items and these are the prices I am quoting that they are worth.

Before you ask why I stopped there. It was 2 days BEFORE pay day!!!

Cheers!

Pair of CIBIE Oscar spotties for $15 at a market - the guy wanted $25 I beat him down to $15

Seen an add at the local supermaket - Roof rack for a patrol $60, 4 rims for a partol and tyrtool $60.

I rang the guy, went around and paid $40 for a ARB full length roof rack, 4 15 inch rim for the patrol, a tyre pliers.

Last year, I was in Kmartbuyig a bike, the register lady got a price chek - it came back as 199. The lady typed in $1.99 and asked if that was on the card or cash - I dropped $2 bucks and headed out the door with my new bike.

Were on a roll...
Mrs picked this up off 'deal of the day' site and it arrived today..

30173
Its a led latern, 4 5w leds to give 360 degree light..
and then the cool bit...
30174
Each led detaches from the base giving an awesome little person light source..
There held in my rare earth magnets and are that strong my 2 yr old can get tgem off..
each module has a internal battery which is charged from the main supply (4xAA) and lasts for a solid hour. Main unit I think was for 40 hours..
Each module has a rubber strap around it which folds out to aid as a stand or hang from, but also has a belt clip on the rear... :D
Size wise, complete about the size of a large soup tin (the man tins...) and each modual is about a little thicker than a Zippo lighter..

so yea, cool little buy.. got ours for $40. Think the missus found it on big w web site for $60, and other sites for $80...

Will let you guys know how it goes..
