Or look up Berrima Diesel. Not sure where they are in relation to you but I would commute to see them. Well worth the drive and maybe the best diesel tuners in the country.

it will take you appx 1.5 hrs to get to Berrima from Penrith but I have heard nothing but good reports about Berrima Diesel, has the council let them stay open?, I heard the local council was trying to shut them down on some silly legality about 6 months ago or something like that

For a 90 minute drive its Berrima Diesel all the way! Takes me longer than that to get to work in peak hour!!

You lucky lucky bastard. If I get up that way I will be working a day off my trip for the GUIV to get a Berrima massage.

Do it man!!

You should be getting better than 12 or 13lts /100 on the hwy I would have thought even loaded.

What year is it

I've since gone over to the petrol "dark side" but I had a GU 4.2 diesel with a Denco kit on it and always took it to West End Diesel at Wetherill park and had nothing but excellent service and great results. That said, a mates father had a Maverick 4.2 diesel turboed by Berrima diesel years ago and still goes to the trouble of driving down there from Sydney every couple of years for injector cleans and tune ups and swears by them.

I always dealt with Leon at West End who really seemed to know his stuff. My first trip in there, he went over the patrol at no charge and sent me home with a list of things to fix in order to get optimal results out of their tune-up - replace leaking hose clamps, adjust tappets, get a new air filter and my clutch was slipping among other things.

what I found when touring highways that if you push it to 120kph plus it sucked the fuel in badly, sitting on 110kph it was far better, take it easier on hills as pushing it hard up hills in 5th gear sucks the fuel too
