Have just blocked off the EGR pipe after much help from this forum..After two weeks driving the engine light has come on. Need somebody with the know how on how to clear this.. I am near the Windsor NSW area.. Any help greatly appreciated..Sim

I think you can clear the code manually without scangauge....I think it was posted here somewhere. See if I can find it

Thanks nisshead..Will try this if all else fails..Mine is an 08 tho and i did read somewhere that the plug is not quite the same..Love to see it done before i go for it...... car is still the new toy at the moment, hate to damage it by doing something wrong

Uummmm... have you got boost and EGT gauges? Blocking the EGR can cause some fairly interesting things to happen other than just an engine light.

I had some awesome boost spikes appear when I did mine.

I waited till I had a scangauge so I could see the boost, water temp and fuel flows and also check the fault codes before I did most mods and they also help you set up a chip.
