Met a couple of nice blokes over the break

We had christmas in Victoria at my mother in laws, took the opportunity to sort out some raised garden beds for her and all the family stuff.

But I also got to catch up with Roofy and his new bride Jane once again.
We planned a bit of a drive to Cuppas place and enjoyed a few hours at his place discussing Patrols and Pods. Had an enjoyable time talking boys talk with a hands on modder, bit like myself LOL.
I think he picked up a few ideas from my podder too.

Roofy was great, good company and we did a bit of a tour to the sites where I worked 30 plus years ago. Those holes in the ground are huge and the coal face is a long way from my days in the Valley.

The place has grown in all directions, and I can not get over all the car yards in Traralgon, also Bairnsdale.

Just a thanks to those guys for their hospitality and friendship.

Good on you mate.... I have met Roofy and also think he is a good bloke, straight shooter!!!!

I have made many friends on here now beyond 4wding and truly do look forward to meet ups so as to catch up with many of the guys and gals I have befriended !!

Yeah it was good to meet Roofy again & Macca for the first time. Comparing notes between Macca's vehicle & mine has saved me from unnecessary expenditure.

At some future date we will have to have a bit of a Patrol gathering up here in the Strzleckis. There's a good camp spot down on the creek close to here with tracks all through the bush to explore. It gets used by other 4wd'ers & trail bike riders on public holiday weekends, but at other times is often empty. Camping at our place would also be an option if numbers weren't to big to overwhelm our septic system , & folks brought their own water.

Had the pleasure of spending a weekend fishing on the Murray with Roofy, Cuppa and Bob..

Great to read your responses except the R S am I missing something?

Had a good time in Vic and would have enjoyed catching up Winnie, but the little lady had a lot of family stuff to do before we went home and were simply time poor, next time we get down that way we will be better organised to catch up with a few of you from that area.

Bell and Kat are near as is AB too I think be good to put the faces to the names and Roofy always has nice things to say about you all!

I cant believe what a good bunch of blokes we have here. Shame you missed our meetup by a couple of weeks.

It's great to see the Vic guys doing a few more meetups I reckon. Ol mate Roofy s top of the class mate and you probably made a good descision not inviting Winnie! But we all know that. We put up with him cause he has got a good post count and drives the Party Bus..... Hang on he doesn't have the Party Bus any more??? WTF run him out of town!
