GU accelerator sensor wiring, colours and the like. Need Help

HI Guys

a Mate of mine has a 2011 GU7/8 and has a Stainbauer which he purchased. Being a mechanical engineer i offered to help him install it.

The issue i have is that i can not figure out what colour wire the accelerator sensor needs to be plugged into.

The GU he has has 6 wires to it, i have a full manual for all nissans and under the GU, it shows i need to splice into wire 164 but not sure if i have the right colour and with the type of plug it is, its impossible to tell.

Help would be appreciated.

Going by the pictures.

Pin 164 at the ECU the wire colour should be Blue, this wire then changes colour at the accelerator pedal switch to a White with a Red trace.

thanks mate, where do you find the colour codes and the like, i found a white and a red stripe

The wire colour is the letter in the middle of the wire in the diagrams.

Here is the colour coding. (this one should cover the common rail)

sweet i didn't see the code description, i saw the W/Y and figured it meant white with yellow. Thanks guys, will let you know how we go over the weekend

If you have the full manual just double check the colour code.

You should be able to find it in the GI section under "How to read wiring diagrams"
