turbo size td42

hey guys trying to decide what size turbo to use on my patrol, i have just finished rebuilding it i was going to use a plain bush turbo from an s13 silvia not sure if its big enough i can get hold of a genuine garret 28 71 quite cheap i no this turbo would be to small for a 4ltr petrol engine is it to small for the diesel?

I dunno about sizes but if you can score a setup from a GU (td42t) its a pretty easy DIY

I run a Garret 2871R ball bearing & it's fine. Thinking of trying a 3071 one day.

Get a td05 Mitsubishi turbo mate they are the ducks nuts for a td42 and they are tough and reliable.

I run a 20g wheel td05 and it is an excellent turbo, but you need supporting mods to run a turbo that big. Other goodo otions is 18g or fast spool 16g.
