View Full Version : Introducing Blondie

Good Afternoon,

I'm introducing myself like the forum says! I'm Blondie, a Nissan Patrol, 1999 model with flowers from Zimbabwe! I have travelled extensively throughout Southern Africa. I'm built for this terrain.

I need some help! There is a noise emanating from my left front half shaft. I was told it was my wheel bearings but they have been checked out and re-packed with grease and the noise persists...

We've never joined a forum before and aren't sure how this whole thing works. Please help!

(Patrol Y61 (GU) Wagon, powered by a TD42 - Bog standard but for radial tyres)

Enjoy the sights and sounds of the greatest show on earth.

Hi mate and welcome to the forums. There's a heap of advice to be had here - being new to forums don't be shy - just jump in and ask all the questions you like! Also - as has been saif before if you post in one of the relevant mechanical sections you'll get a heap of responses.

Hiya Pete,
This is the land of smokes buddie! Tobacco is a big cash crop.
Zim was Maddison country. Now-a-days it's Pacific is the main brand.
I quite the weed yonks ago, but am told that the quality is still tops! I top dressed my lawn with about 2 Tonne of tobacco scrap about a month ago. The scrap looked good enough to "roll your own" with! I think the guy who works in the garden did just that!

Thier last name is bester but the panel shop is pioneer panel beaters i am pretty sure the owner's name is Craig, but if you drop in there ask for Bruce, the one with the most grey hair and the big gut. If you are into cars and so on Craig is a rally driver as well so might know them through that area, and yes they do live in harare.

Howzit again,

Blondie is owned by Zia & I do as much maintenance on her as I can!

Zia would like to add a thumb nail picture like your "gorgeous" face!

How to do?

Ya, I known Pioneer. It's just down the road from my spot in Greendale.
They patched up a car for me a few years back - did a great job!
