On the way back from Sydney to Brisbane. If I'm back in time have an invite from a forum member for a get together! (Don't want to say who 'cause I don't want his place crashed Facebook style!).

Going to a church across the road from my wife's parents, has a great view over Penrith where they will be holding the closest major fireworks display near hear.

Church won't be open and should have the place pretty much to ourselves :)

Some drinkies and some more drinkies, hopefully the man upstairs will forgive my sins for drinking booze on the church grounds :)

16kg chunk of meat goes on the spit soon. The guys will all be watching that cook for half a day whilst consuming copious amounts of alcohol.
Then a short walk down to lake entrance to watch the fireworks. Then party hopping through the caravan park until sun up.
8:29am now and first turkey and cola is open to go with the pancake breaky :-)

Come back down to the beach house mate and lets get drunk. Again! :)

Just got bloody home mate..... and getting drunk with you involves getting in trouble with you and I am wise enough to stay away from that one.

Mags use to take Erica to the movies on New Years Day because I was wasted and she did not want to be hanging around with me being at deaths door reaking of scotch.....

Since the boy has come along I now save getting plastered for when I am away from home with the boys, not worth the pain getting in trouble plus kids dont seem to care you are dying from too much drink.

im off to nindigully to see what its like

Thats ironic,

Just went to Cooma to get some New Years supplies, and bugger me if there wasn't a GU patrol in the carpark with a Nindigullyf**ckingpub sticker on the back window.

Had never heard of the place until today and then see a sticker.
