My name is Robert,i drive patrol wagon gr from '06.i couldn't find patrol forum here,so a came down to you guys ;).nissan is my first japanese car, others are german and french.i am a farmer.usually farmers here drive pick-ups (mazda bt 50,navara.hillux),i don't like that kind of cars,so 2 years ago i bought patrol...where i live there are in circle of 100km maybe 5 patrols.in nearest city, there is just one from criminal police.not driven often,so when i drive my trough streets it is a real head turner

thanks.I will send few pic, there is a woods, but my land is flat as a table...just planty of mud in autumn and few smaller hills..for mountains i need to go to coastal region,500km from my place...so You can say that I am a little limited to have fun with my patrol.when autumn comes (rain and mud) and winter (traffic colapse) because of snow,it is mine time to have fun!

Righto - back to English!! lol

Are you saying that your battery is stuffed (you mention it's gone)??? Is that due to the cold temperature?

Rober
20th December 2012, 12:04 AM
yes naturally, car batteries drops dead in winter.i have more cars and machinery, every year i must buy 2-3 batteries.last winter I changed it in patrol.(but it was -25C,and more cold, batteries loose more power).it was still original i think (i sow that japanese symbols).so it lasted 5 years.when my old man bought a new french Peugeot 406 it lasted for 8 years.normaly, when you buy u new battery it can't last more than 4-5 years...
