View Full Version : Road rage in Qld

I don't know if anybody saw it on Today Tonight, but there was a road rage incident in Queensland.

All I can say is....."Thank goodness that driver had an 'in car camera.' If it wasn't on camera, it'd be hard to believe!

The vision I saw was disgusting. What is wrong with that bloke?

Take care out there.

Didn't see that one but on the news here last week there was footage of a couple of tossers going for it in the middle of the freeway.

Hey mate - saw that too. I reckon honestly if that happened to me I wouldn't be so restrained. I would have run the mongrel over. What do these people think? It's downright scary that they seem to have no issue in being like that. I heard at the end he was "turning himself in tomorrow". People like that should be.……..… I dunno. Lost for words! Makes me sick! I can't imagine something like that happening if I had the girls in the car. I reckon I'd go nuts and I'd be the one in jail.

So what's a suitable punishment for these type of "people"?

I don't do 'TV' but I do real life. 6000 ks in the past 8 days... and yes I see a lot of rage on the road. A lot of it aimed at me 'cause I slow the traffic, cut it off and all manner of offences. Trouble is - its my job as a road pilot to keep the public safe from the oversize loads and visa versa. Rage is alive and well and seems to be generally triggered when someone has 'had enough'.

Take care out there, especially at Christmas.

Twenty years with big Bubba as a room mate should be the outcome for that piece of garbage. I am trying to imagine what the end result would have been if it was someones wife/daughter/mother on the recieving end.

Can't believe what would of happened if he got hold of the guy, or did he ??
And yes if the family were in the car, imagine the hysteria.
They should throw the book at the mongrel.

Another thing too, he's damn lucky he didn't pick the wrong person to do it to,

I can't believe what I just watched with my own eyes!! WTF was this C#%T thinking??? The driver in the car with the camera should consider himself very lucky, but that f'ing germ in the black ute should thank his lucky stars it was a mild mannered south African and not a weapon carrying, bad tempered patrol owner who took indifference at having his truck scratched by some pubic hair juiced up on stupidity and God knows what else -- there's a steel bar on the front of Tank, and that prick would still feature prominently on it to this day if it was me ... I'd keep the maggot as a hood ornament for about a week before I handed him over to the boys in blue ...

If it was my missus and kids in the car attacked?? There's not a jail cell in Australia he could avoid me in ... I'd rob a bank just to get arrested and request to be cell mates ...

This stuff MUST stop and police are powerless at the point of incident as proven in this video - not their fault, they simply can't be everywhere at once and are under supported by government on their powers for this sort of thing when they do get there - the commissioner of police should be ashamed of himself - how about less time and investment in developing/installing more and more "revenue raising" traffic cameras and police tactics (which have been proven now to be less than effective in curbing road deaths and improving safety) and back to good old fashioned 'cops in cars' ... everywhere, all the time ... that I would have no issue with. Getting a ticket handed to me for speeding or other infringement by a human being at the time of the event is far more palatable than having a photo show up in the mail 2 weeks later ...

I'm still in shock ... wow ...

Bigrig
20th December 2012, 08:59 AM
Further to my last post - WTF is the go with the 000 operator?? "how did this all start" ... ?? Yep, very appropriate with a guy in distress ... and then she nearly sounds like she chuckles when she says "don't go back .. " and he actually says to her "are you crazy ... I'm not going back" ...

F'ing disgraceful ... the people on my service desk at work would have behaved more appropriately and offered more direct advice and questioning ... and they're essentially kids ...

Lonicus

How hopped up do you have to be to smash a windscreen with bare hands?

If he doesn't go to jail there's something wrong with the justice system.

He's only 21, and it's doubtful that he'll change his ways, until he eventually picks the wrong car to mess with. He'll cop a hiding, or worse, and run straight to the cops crying.

Lonicus
20th December 2012, 09:08 AM
Agreed the 000 operator was less than helpful, but at least the guy can't be done for leaving the scene as he was instructed by the police not to go back.

scotty83
20th December 2012, 09:23 AM
I could believe the operator either. I am at loganholme. oh the closest 24 station is at Logan Central..... WTF. I can't believe that with a call like that the the operator couldn't have gotten a vehicle to assist in the time it takes the guy to drive from Loganholme to Logan Central. Especially when she didn't know the condition of the vehicle after being rammed multiple times. Clearly she panicked and will be reviewing herself for the foreseeable future.
FYI: For those that doesn't know loganholme and logan central are about 15 mins apart on a good day. Maybe not at that speed though.

Two others have come forward saying they experienced road rage from the same idiot previously. In defence of the 000 call taker (I know two people who work there), they have a set routine to follow and have to ask those questions. I had to call 000 on Monday for a car accident and after getting the location and required services they started with 'is there alcohol or drugs involved' etc. It's standard procedure.
I just think it's a pity his leg didn't roll under the car when fell off the bonnet.

Nah - he handed himself in - with his Mummy! And he was still all agro on it when Today Tonight filmed him. Apparently the coppers are wanting to question him again after questioning him for 90 minutes....... The South African dude was an ex-cop too so I am pretty sure young juiced up man there is stuffed! Here's hoping. On another note, the little snot was driving his company car - what a tool.

G'day folks!

I was absolutely shocked and stunned by that dick-brains actions!

What i would given to have been in that situation on that day. I know one thing for sure, if that was me, he would have been carried by six of his family and friends before Christmas and i would be judged by 12 in a Court of law. I would have pulled over to the nature strip and farken flogged the snot out of that scrote!

What makes this situation even worse, is the fact the D40 Navara did not belong to that feral scum-bag. He had borrowed the car from a small business owner friend of the family. This clearly demonstrated that this knuckle dragging tosser had no respect for a family friend’s personal property. He then continued to demonstrated no respect, by placing other drivers and the safety of the public at risk!

Today in Queensland, four other people have now come forward to file complaints about this feral tow-rags excessive and reckless behavior. Two other vehicles were also allegedly damaged by that arse-hole during his unlawful rampage that day. The other thing I find extremely frightening, what would have happened if a there was an innocent child present in the poor victim’s car.

The only sympathy that dick-brain gets from me is in the dictionary! Sympathy is found between the words of shit and Syphilis!

I wonder if he would have had the farken balls to go up against this type of vehicle. Me in the drivers seat!

Now that i have got that crap of my chest!

I think we can only blame the law or those that make it. He'll most likely get a fine (revenue) & a good behavior bond. should get 10 yrs minimum The laws are to soft in this country. Seen this with my eldest son 19, now dis-honed!. He's just as much a f#$kwitt as this guy in the video, a hero. This ol mate lucky he didn't do this crap to me, or maybe I'm lucky cause I'd have to explain to the police why I ran over him 5 times. I have seen many young males & females act with this type of attitude. & as was mentioned, imagine he did pick the wrong bloke but no on board cam & after all this the innocent one gave him what for & totally f#$ked him up. You can bet your left nut the innocent bloke would cop all the grief & this hero would walk free. I call for tougher laws etc.
