Hi everyone. I have a gq 4.2ltr petrol carby/gas. I have a over heating problem and a missing problem. I replaced my head gasket, drove it to work to test it and it got hot. So i limped it home. I have had my radiator flushed pressure tested new top and bottom hoses. I have also taken out my thermostat and have got a thermo fan running with ignition. Sitting at idle and a little run it got up to halfway. not sure if sensor is reading right. I have a new one ready to go in but cannot find a the temp sensor. any help on this would be good. I also have a miss at idle and while driving. my car sat for a couple of weeks while the got the radiator done at getting time to put it in. I live in ipswich in qld. any help would be muchly appreciated. going to check the timing prob friday also.

Is it only hot on the gauge, or is it actually boiling in the expansion tanks?
