The dual battery in DX Grunt 4.2 TDi. I'm not sure if it's an ARB battery tray or a Nissan one.

Hi Stropp,

Are you able to take it back and go buy yourself a Piranha tray as i recently fitted teh piranha tray to our 05 4.2tdi GU and its a straight fit without cutting any brackets off. The only thing i had to do is extend a the hose for the over flow bottle which was easy enough as repco stocks the hose from an early commodore which is a perfect fit.

If you need to PM me and i will email photos of how ours fits.

Sorry again Stropp for the delay. Here are some pics of the bracket. Let me know if you need any more clarification. I didn't have instructions, might have been better off cause of it.

yes mate got it done on sunday arvo, it went very smoothly except for the blinking captive nut setup what a pain in the rs to get that held in the right spot when you need glasses to see and you are bending over trying to see and the glasses keep falling down :( but it is all sorted now thanks, i think the instuction sheet should be thrown in the bin as it would have been easier without it, just caused me great confusion.
