Could put them on a DVD and send it to somebody who knows how to make it smaller or something? We'll see when it gets to it

roofy lives in traf where we're leaving from so if he's around you could catch up with him? I'll be at work until 5 unfortunately. Absolutely bugger all to do in the way of killing time around here though. Stop at traralgon on your way through you will drive past a big dan murphys and you could spend about 6 hours in there waiting for us lmao

Don't think it needs to be said but there is no reception there.

If I do manage to come up (ie:p permission from da Guvna), will my standard vehicle tackle the terrain. Or will I have to park again and jump in with someone.
Cos I would like to do it all in my own car.
Or am I just better off waiting to do things when I'm set up. Lift, tyres, winch, at the least.
And a off road map device cos you never give directions just GPS co-ords.

Mego,
One of my regular driving mates was doing trips around the high country for years in a bog standard early 120 Prado (no traction control either) until he had the dosh to begin modding it.......we used to call him tripod but it did everything he asked of it.
I was his regular navi and we needed some discretion with track choice but it certainly changed my view of the capabilities of a Prado (wash my mouth out I know)......
With the right track choices, your GU will do more than that Prado for sure......

Got my baby back yesterday from the exhaust place and only drove one km then spent the day out with my daughter for her birthday so dont really know what she is running like???

Did not need to CAT either so more straight through than I was expecting.

Busting my balls to get there, well more back, Mego you can drive mine if you want to park yours, But between you and me the Nissan Patrol would have to
be one the best 4x4,s straight off the showroom floor. one of the last of the live axle jobs, trust me would I lie to you.

Everyone should know convoy procedure, only worry about the guy behind you, eg aat an intersection wait till 4x4 behind you sees you flashes lights or indicates and take off, the 4x4 in front of you should be waiting as well for you if there is a turn etc, easy when you know how, plus most have UHF as well

So is this creek a fast flowing one or a still creek? Swimmable? Easily fishable?

some holes would be ok to get wet in

Far out AB how do you keep up with him , you need a keen learner like croozer,
just showing him how to use the bench drill.

I just though aof a cool idea. AB. You need to make some NissanPatrol.com.au vests for dogs. Then I can get one for my wife....Er no i didn't say that, it was the booze talking and she's not home, so...But it would be kinda cool to see a line up of all the members dogs with matching vests...Plus I'm not coming to this event. I kinda had stuck in my head to take the banshee's to see Craig's hut as they keep hounding me to see it. So whether pending I will be going there....Have fun anyway guys and take lots of pics.

Hy guys I'm buying an Engel on Friday, 40L job. I don't have dual batteries and am just going to run it through the ciggie plug for now (mines wired for constant power)
Realistically how long should I expect to be able to run it for without having to worry about starting? 3 hours or 3 days type of thing? Really have no clue????

Don't think it would be worth hardwiring if I've only got a single battery?? There's no way I'd easily get a second battery under my bonnet, thinking more ahead for the next car

Bullshit mate.... run the second in the back mate... very easy and done in no time... I bought my wire in bulk and that is the biggest outlay.

You can use this battery for a while and I can get you a $250-$280 battery for about $130 when you have the spare cash..

Easy to rip out when you sell the car.

Say the word mate and we could do it in an hour at the camp site.
