Went to the quamby tractor pull years ago. Most memorable moment was the run where the load transfer mechanism failed to operate. Ever seen a tractor doing a hundred k's down the track with the load operator hanging on for dear life? Scary stuff but funny at the same time!

We had the opposite.. had a beautiful old school truck sporting a ford 5ltr trun his drive shaft into a straw because the mech dug in on the line... He wasn't a happy chappy..

Anyway, a V12.. 3x V8's inline.. the guys were struggling for traction off the line so it not a great pull...
