Day running lights options

G'day all,

I want to put some day running lights on and rather than drilling more holes in the pretty bull bar (ARB Deluxe winch bar) :smile: I was thinking of replacing the fog lights with a LED equivalent (ML18 from monster lights).

I thought I could get an LED replacement bulb but bright lights equivalent is like a 20W halogen which I was thinking wasn't quite enough to be useful as a day running light.

Of course I could just buy some DRL's and mount them somewhere :)

Any thoughts ?

Yeah sorta, put a pic up of your bar, can't you put those projector type lights to fit the bull bar. I have LED as all globes even parkers
,you'll find them more than bright enough,
Unless you're after that Audi look

Couldn't you just hard wire the side lights to the ignition?

Yeah not after a look I just want to have something so i can be seen when touring instead of using the headlights.

You can buy 7" rounds now called 'halo' lights. They have an LED ring around the outside, which are quite good for daytime
