Hey Guys,

a mate of mine has just created an Iphone video app,
if every one could check it out, you would be helping a young guy build a business.

"iDash is designed for the passenger to capture the entire driving experience. iDash enhances video with a digital dashboard, an analogue style speedometer, GPS data, Maps and audio. Customize your iDash and share it with your friends via Facebook, YouTube, Email and even MMS. The files are saved directly to your iPhone?s camera roll for playback and sharing.

On-Screen Maps and Speedometer can be re-sized to customize your look. Pinch to change the size of your map/speedometer and easily change the opacity from the slide out tabs. You can drag the objects anywhere you wish making each iDash completely unique. You can even change the settings while recording, none of the slide out tabs will be visible during playback.

Here?s a tip, iDash was never meant to be mounted and left on the dash, It was created to be handheld (by passenger). Have fun using iDash and get those Spike Lee angles happening!"

Righto

I've just downloaded it - you might want to tell your mate to make it "lite weight" and free till he get some ratings ...

I'll try it out and let you know ...

Just tried it walking around the house - the finished video is very 'juttery'?? Layout and options look ok, but the video quality (as in frames per second) would need significant improvement at speed by the looks of what I just did ...

Sorry but I'm too tight to outlay any money just to evaluate a new app. Either I want it to be a free download, preferably fully functional (time limited is ok). Or at the very least to come well recommended from others who have used it for a while. $1.99 is not a lot, but there is a lot of software out there & all those $1.99’s add up.

Hey Carter,

How about you head over to the intro section and say G'day and tell us about yourself and your car. Where you are and what you like about Nissan Patrols please. We ask all new members to post an intro thread before asking for help from our members.

And certainly if you are selling something then Make an effort or I will consider you to be spam and block you.

Kind regards

MR
