Hey guys I'm having drivetrain issues. Before I lifted my patrol 2 inches I had a slight pulsing type vibration at 100kph didn't bother me now it is a little worse as I get over about 105 it seems to settle down again. It feels like tailshaft or something any ideas

The shaft angle would have changed a little with the lift so could make the uni joint play up a bit more.

So new uni joints?

I'd wait for some more opinions, but in the mean time see if there is any play in the uni joints by twisting the shafts back and forward.

They should be tight with no movement other than designed. Give them a good shake as well, might show someting is not right.

Edit, A wieght might have come off the tail shaft/s too

Is the tail shaft rubbing on cross member, might need tail shaft turning around.

I did Mav's rear a little while back.
They felt ok no play.
But were worn with tight notchy spots.
This was covering the play up.
Be careful replacing the uni's, sure there are 3 different types.
cant remember the numbers off hand, something like.
RUJ 2028.
9003100.
are 2 of them.
The clips are the way to adjust end play
So keep your c-clips you may need em for adjustment or simply as spares for a rainy day.
