Only 26 days left to Christmast already! So what's everyone's plans for Christmas this year? Staying at home or some trips planned? I'm off the Sydney from Brisbane for a couple of days (driving down the New England) and then heading back up and stopping off camping slowly on the way back.

Wahoo.... I ruined xmas last year by having a fight with my brother inlaw so this year we have booked a house down Rye?Rosebud? (I am not sure the wife booked it) and for the first time in years it will be just us.. my wife and my kids and me!!!!
It will be joyess for a change instead of miserable, cant wait.
Then 2 weeks at home sneeking out for the odd trips up the bush with my kids.

Off to Vanuatu on the 12th (Woohoo) Back just before new year, then road tripping up to merry beach in NSW with some mates, probably stopping at Sydney for the New year fireworks (Not the best part, wayyyy to many people) and then coming back to QLD to sleep for a day before heading back to work.
Vanuatu is going to be the highlight though!
Cheers

Quiet one at home this year.
First Xmas in over 20 years that the MIL hasn't been living with us (in her granny flat) so the boss and I can relax and enjoy the day together :)
PS. MIL moved on to retirement village, not to the great beyond, and that's where she's spending Xmas day :)

Xmas at home and working through cept for the public holidays ... Get my kids back early Jan for holidays and we're off to Mt Tamborine camping for 10days - just me & the 2 little ones (10 & 7) should be fun - only half hour from the theme parks on Gold Coast and not too far for Brad to come rescue me if I blow something up on my new trailer LOL

Spend it up? the ticket took all my savings hahaha!
the good thing all the best spots are free If you know where they are and/or speak the lingo to find out, which isn't a problem being that i lived there for 10 years!
Cheers and Merry Christmas!
