Recommended Diesel Mechanics

Hi guys / Gals. Bit of an idea,

As i often see so many people chasing a contact for a good reputable diesel fitter /mechanic in their area, i thought it might be a good idea for people to list the contacts of who they use to get work done on their rigs.

Best Diesel mechanic I've come across unfortunately lives on the opposite side of the country to me. A Diesel mechanic with a full machine shop under the same roof. The owner, Dave, when I met him & explained what I wanted, had a phone earpiece in, & a sense of being very busy. I was doubtful if he was really listening to me properly, but he asked pertinent questions which immediately made me confident that he had listened very well. A very switched on bloke & bloody good mechanic with state of the art machine shop & good people/communication skills. A rare package indeed. I have no hesitation in making a recommendation.

Diesel Tech in Lilydale has a pretty good name with this sort of stuff. Unsure how far it is from you though.

MTQ in Dandenong are Fuel specialists and have a good dyno. Give them a bell they will be much closer than lilydale
