Just wondering if anyway has a photo of the genuine GQ cup holders installed in the centre console.
Thinking of buying one as it pisses me off having nowhere to stick me drink.

Thanks

a short story to think about lol.

Here we are, a couple of patrols heading to five rocks for a play. we leave my house at about 7am. I have a travel mug, filled with coffee in my original drink holder in centre console.
We turn left of rocky / yeppoon road, only to have my travel mug turn into a gymnast. It did a triple pike forward 3.5, and landed on my boardshorts, CAP OFF !!!
So here i am, not wanting to pull over for my mates to laugh at me, driving with my ass up of the chair, with the heat on my mid section, actually brought me to a sweat !!

have fun :P

Smokes go in storage, ash and fag butts go in the ashtray- phone, coinage and drinks go in them there holders........

Just had a thought for the smokers out there, put the fag box in one of those cheap universal phone holders, that way theyre within easy reach.

The coinage in the cup holder is a magnet for rotten kids. Our friend found that out, but the little mongrels missed on the first shot and the half brick hit the pillar (ouch), the second shot smashed the window and they got away with a princely sum of two flaming dollars !!

I've got the exact same ones as on that pic posted early in this topic. They do hold normal take away coffee cups perfectly, as well as those McDonalds-/Burger King cups used for fresh drinks and milkshakes.

All that at least goes for the sizes of cups that are usual here in the Netherlands. For as far as my experiënce goes, they are about the same as those you get in at least New Zealand and Canada. My guess, therefore, is that Aussie ones will fit fine too :)

Yeah I've got a genuine one, it will just hold the 600ml dare, the big ones aren't even close though. And yes, I do have a definite addiction to dare iced coffee, just keep telling the wife that I have to do something after quitting smoking, so far it's insane amounts of coffee and buying 4wds. I'm ashamed to say I'm up to 5 trucks

Looking at cup holders and the choice comes down to three on evilbay and figured it was better to tag on an existing (but old) thread
#1 www.ebay.com.au/itm/Nissan-Patrol-GQ-Y60-Cup-Holder-New-Improved-/221508160027?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3392ea4a1b&_uhb=1
#2 http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/BRAND-NEW-NISSAN-GQ-PATROL-Y60-CUP-HOLDER-1988-1997-/131211773428?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item1e8cd4c5f4&_uhb=1
And #3 is a genuine one http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Nissan-GQ-Patrol-Genuine-Cup-holder-68430-32J01-/331207521359?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item4d1d81b44f&_uhb=1
I don't mind paying a little extra for a genuine one but if anybody has either one of the others can they give an opinion on them as some reports say the ebay ones aren't the best. I notice that the two aftermarket ones have different shape holes, does the one from enginepartsaustralia fit 600ml iced coffees? Thanks fellas.

MudRunnerTD

The genuine ones won't take a 600 bottle, the first one has a can in a stubbie holder in it. That's the go I reckon.

The OE holders have a 70 mm hole if it helps.
